My Roots

Ello, my name is Tabor Cote (pronounced tay-ber cody). Before I discovered graphic design, I was a photographer, using my lens to craft stories for high-end fashion designers and surrealist shoots. During my second year of college, at a graphic design senior show at Spokane Falls Community College, I realized I could merge photography, storytelling, and problem-solving into design that connects and makes an impact. Since then, I’ve thrived in environments where I can wear many hats, learn quickly, and push my creativity to solve complex problems. At my last job, I often said, “I haven’t done that, but I’ll figure it out,” a mindset that keeps me adaptable and confident, whether designing campaigns for Amtrak Cascades or creating publications like Long Story Short. I’m currently open to freelance projects and full-time opportunities with design agencies.

When I’m not designing or behind the camera, you’ll likely find me building sprawling Minecraft cities, tending to my apartment’s mini-jungle, experimenting in the kitchen with spontaneous dance breaks, or picking up new skills to keep growing in knowledge (since I’ve stopped growing in height).
