Project Goal
In the month of march 2025, Amtrak Cascades and Uber teamed up to provide Uber riders a $10 discount on their ride when then book a trip with Amtrak Cascades. I was responsible for creating a voucher confirmation email, a monthly Amtrak Cascades email themed around using Uber to travel further and creating a social media promotion graphic and post.

Social Media Post
Social media promotions needed to be simple enough to grab and retain viewer attention without being overly complicated. The design also had to be flexible enough for use in a Facebook promotion.
Monthly
Every month Amtrak Cascades sends out an email talking about things you can do while on or around the train. However, for this month, I decided I talk about things that you can do if you take an uber from the train station to places further out.
I researched destinations and activities, wrote the sub-topics, and found/created visuals for the hero image and supporting images.
I did not write the hero copy, as that was supplied for me.
Webpage
A special webpage was created for the sale on the Amtrak Cascades Website (see link below).
While I did not design the webpage, I did help to curate the photos on the webpage. As well as test prototypes of the page to ensure it is accessible to a wide range of people and internet browsers.
Voucher Confirmation Email
I created this voucher confirmation email that users would receive after filling out the above form. Clicking on the gold button would then link users to the official Uber website or app where they could claim and use their unique code.
The email needed to look different from the normal monthly email but still fall under the Amtrak Cascades branding.
